Responsibility to be Responsible
Prov 2:6-11For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He holds victory in store for the upright,he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, 8 for he guards the course of the justand protects the way of his faithful ones.
9 Then you will understand what is right and justand fair — every good path. 10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. 11 Discretion will protect you,and understanding will guard you. NIV
It's always disturbing to see and hear people from all walks of life blaming some body for their failures, neglects and short coming due to simply failing to be responsible.
What shocking is, even in the fold of the believers of Christ we find people who does not take responsibility in the result of their failures or failure to do.
We see churches that fail to do their mandate, Christian leaders their calling and blame it to either the devil or his demons or others.
When we see that God has already given us the ability to get wisdom and understanding by His word and Spirit, we should be confident enough to do what he require and take responsibility in it's result. Anyway, His grace is always sufficient.
Let's give up the Adam and Eve syndrome of blame game, or pointing fingers.
It's high time for the church to "Raise up Champions". Men and women who does not only succeed but who are responsible enough to be responsible.
Oh, my prayer includes this; "Lord, that you might found me faithful in everything, and in all things courageous enough to act responsibly as being trusted and called".
May we see that the world is changing for good and better, because men/women like you take the responsibility to be responsible in making this world the Kingdom of our Lord. In JIL terms; Let's make every effort to fulfill our MVV.
God bless responsible JIL.

Today's Devotion-Refuge in times of trouble
This year was ushered to us with many exciting event in our history. The first African American President took an oath. Which has been covered by all news and headlines all over the world, almost simultaneous with the increasing number of people world wide who was layed off and lost their job.
As a believer we recognized that these event and development are not happening by chance but by divine providence. God always brings hope in any given siuation to lead people to recognized Him as the source of life and blessing!
We might mistakenly consider to find our help in man, but though man will do everything he could He will always come to his limit. That's why in situation like we have today, may we seek our help in God through;
1. Recognized His capability
2. Remember and believed His promises
3. Resolved to trust in God
As of this writing, I recieved messages of some brethren who just lost thier job, a sudden change of life, especially to those whose confidence is in thier good employment! ut thank God, that He taught us to placed our trust in Him.
We might lost our employment, but it does not mean we lost our blessing and provision, for God is our supply! You might be in the most troubled time in you life, but this is also your most previlege time to enjoy the power, the love and the goodness of God!
Please read the whole story of King Jehoshapat and see yourself in the same way God brought thier deliverance and help!
Let's settle our case in God's hand!
